This year will be the 200th anniversary of Henry Bell's 'Comet'. The first commercial steamboat in Europe. There will be events, especially at Helensburgh, Bell's home town. Please see http://www.comet-2012.co.uk/index.php
We hope to have a few steamers at Helensburgh on the 4th and 5th August. There may be spaces for willing helpers.
