A special section just for steam engines and boilers, as without these you may as well fit a sail.

Replacement parts for Stuart 7A Steam Engines

Post by Mfoxchicago »

I have a connecting rod/fork from the bottom of the piston rod to the flywheel crank that has snapped one side of the fork shaped bolt connection at the upper end. I doubt this can be welded back together considering the rpms that connection has to take, but maybe.

I was wondering if Stuart Steam Engines are still being made somewhere or if I will have to settle with having a part machined here locally.....???? Open to your ideas and yes I will try getting pics up on the site after Christmas.

Stuart engine parts are generally available, but unmachined. Such a simple part could be fabricated in less time depending on your resources.
