Machine Tools Available

Post by Jack Innes »

There is a post on the Smokstak site about an older fellow selling his complete machine shop. It sounds legitimate & could be a real start for someone building an engine, etc. I have no connection to the seller nor do I know any more about the situation than is in the postings. http://www.smokstak.com/forum/showthread.php?t=128808

It's in New England... ain't that always the way it goes. Five grand for a complete shop like that is a steal... but you'd probably pay twice that just to get it professionally moved out, properly crated, and hauled and then installed any distance away. Those high quality cast iron precision machines can't just be loaded on the back of a U-Haul truck and driven across the country... or maybe they can... Naw... somebody stop me!
