The final touch? I doubt it, 'fiddle-fingers' will find something to tamper with.

Cylinder lagging produced from the same hardwood stock as the plinth. The trickiest bit was cutting the brass straps by hand, and getting them straight and the same.

My small (6cfm) compressor is now able to keep up with the engine on tick-over and slightly above (100-120 rpm). The eccentric straps and mains no longer get warm when slow running.

Thanks Pete, I've been watching one or two 'holes' but they are a little too big for the single, more akin to the, as yet, un-built twin. ;) ;)
