My experience of the material is using it for bushes in various applications: vehicle suspensions, machines that I have built like a power hammer that I use in my forge amongst others. Anywhere that nylon or rubber would be used. This stuff is amazing. It was used in all the Armoured Personnel Carriers by the SA Defense Force. The areas that these vehicles were used included desert conditions in Northern Namibia where sand and lubrication mixed and formed grinding paste that Vesconite laughed off. I dont know if it could be used as an engine bearing though. Maybe an email to their technical boffins may get an answer.

I used a nylon sleeve w/ Otter's new prop - it works like a charm. Simple and easy.
