Magnificent Navy K to be sold
Carl Kriegeskotte has put his restored Navy K for sale. He's working on the Stevens "Little Julia" replica project and no long has a need for the engine. Those of us who know Carl realize that he is a very talented engine designer and builder. He has put a lot of work into this engine and it's a gem! Visit my website at http://www.earlmorse.org/steamboa.html then discuss with Carl via email.

Wow. Now I will have to build a second launch, 36' or so ...

Not wanting to pester anyone I wonder why people can't put the price in. I have that complaint about Preston's as well. Then I am reminded of that old saying " If you have to ask the price you propably can't afford it!" Even though I can't afford it ,it's nice to see what perfection costs these days!! Den

Prestons have added prices to their website, although I'm not sure they are realistic. Is the big Mumford compound really worth almost 10000 pounds more than it sold for in 2004? And 16000 for a HSL engine seems steep when there is one listed on the SBA website for 3000.farmerden wrote:Not wanting to pester anyone I wonder why people can't put the price in. Oh, that Navy K is lovely, would be nice in a nice 30 footer.
