View active topics - broken?

Whenever I press 'View active topics' it am told "No suitable matches were found" unless I search for 'within a year' in which case I get about four.

Can anyone shed light on what this page in intended to show, and why in the main it does not?

Apparently there is a bug in the system which disables the setting.

It is now enabled.
