Hey,
I have TWO questions:
1) Is the propellor anywhere in the ballpark for a 20-28 ft pontoon boat at say 100-400 revs per minute for 4-8 knots?
2) Is this a reasonable deal, obviously I'd have to buy both. So $300 a piece?
I don't want to get into the heavy math, I'd prefer gut instincts at this point from a steamboater.

Re: Is this propellor in the ballpark?
CB, I certainly am not an expert but if you look at a previous post there is a great lot of information on the SL Iona's construction; http://steamlaunchiona.blogspot.ca/. This shows the modification to a prop intended for a power boat. The end result looks like the Egg Harbour prop that came on my little SL.
It seems an initial outlay of $600 on the beauties you showed is a little much considering the needed removal of the material now in such good condition.
Someone else who knows can surely give you more experience based information, including the size & pitch that you should look for. A damaged prop would be a good start since the damage is usually to the outer, thin edges - (I have had mahogany inboards since the 1960s & have created several prospects that could be carved into the steamer configuration easily.)

Note these are left and right hand props.... you can do better wrt price.
I'd look for something with a little more pitch.

more pitch - myboat requires a four blade 21X24 [calculated using witchcraft math LOL] right now I'm running 19x28 three blade and have about 28% slip. I've discussed doing this for years but have been too busy building the new boat shop to do anything else. I think we should have a 36 hour day-maybe that would work!! Den

I second all of those above. More pitch is needed. Probably something in the 20X25 range. Currently running a 21 X 23 four blade on the tug and it seems about right. A little less pitch because its a heavy hull.
Ebay is a good place to find these props. Many are near retail, but keep looking, they show up at a decent price occasionally.

Re: Is this propellor in the ballpark?
A little follow-up.
I ended up buying the 18"x24" 3 blade that another person was selling on this forum.
Although the diameter is 2" less then most of you folks were recommending, The pitch is about what most of you folks were recommending.
I think it's a good enough ballpark for a first water trial. I'm not going to modify it, and the condition seems fair-to-good to me.
The picture restrictions on this forum don't do the attached image justice!
