I started refurbishing this old wreck of a boat for sailing on our beautiful lakes in South Africa, took me the better part of a year to get her up and running. But the hull seemed better suited to a steam set up so I decided to re do the hull to accommodate steam power. The boiler is a 1919 original, found on the Congo river central Africa, She has been steamed up with the help of my father in law who is the reason for my love in steam. With all the necessary safety checks and certificates, we will not be too far off with the installation of the boiler.

The prop, drive shaft, rudder and all the other bits were donated from a old Cris Craft power boat. So now its just the engine has to be found and the plumbing, final inspection and we are off. I will continue to post new images as they arrive.
