Hi Pete,

Thanks for the welcome. I haven't started anything yet. I do have a couple of HasBrouck plans and a set of castings for a Taylor Twin, but I don't have any drawings and only a few pages on construction. I came across this post on the old forum:http://steamboating.19.forumer.com/viewtopic.php?t=171 I am hoping to run into one of those gentlemen here. Then there's the matter of a boiler and boat.

Hi Chris and welcome to the Forum. A few years back there was a build series on the Taylor twin engine spread over several issues of the SBA magzine "Funnel", written I think by John Winn. If you are interested, I will dig out the issue numbers - back issues are availabe from the SBA. A very nice, usable engine.

I have found that if you occasionally show vague progress pictures of your project, others will be happy to take you for rides. This is the easy way to go steamboating and you can get away with it for several years!
