If I'm not mistaken, that engine is a Hasbrouck #10. About 2 1/2 HP, perfect size for that hull. The boiler looks nice too. If I had 5 grand right now I'd already be on my way to Maine to pick it all up.
I hate not having any spare cash.
EDIT:
I may have been wrong about it being a Hasbrouck. It does look alot like a #10, but it's missing it's reversing mechanism and the oil reservoir. It also appears to use a different type of water pump than the #10 does. Although I suppose he could have modified it, or it could be incomplete.
Joe Bowden is the same man that made an
absolutely gorgeous Hasbrouck #5 with the same color scheme as this engine. He sold it for $3500.00 just recently.
Very sad to see him go, I hope his boat is bought by someone who will appreciate it.
