My steamboat website was also starting to show its age. I've been programming it entirely by hand in a text editor since 1998 to avoid long-term update problems with content management programs. I've now completely translated the German section about Emma into English and added some travel reports. Furthermore, the site is now easier to view on smartphones—which I still don't love.
