This video shows my setup for checking hp. Boiler, engine, and both water pumps are built by me. The lagging on my feedwater heater still needs some work. It falls apart when it gets hot. The boiler has 9sq ft of heating surface (all copper) and 50 inches of stainless superheater in the firebox. I was able to measure 3/4 hp but I think I can improve on that.
Hope to launch in the spring.
