California Delta Steamboat Meet (B&W)

EDIT- I realize now this should have gone in the "rally reports" but it's here to stay.
Only 8 boats this year. 6 steam, and two infernal combustion. This was the 45th year of the meet. Many of the original players are long gone, or long in the tooth.
Several boats arrived Thursday, Allan and Lorraine Gregg arrived with S.L. Lorraine much earlier in the week. Ginny L., Persistance, and Whistl'n Dixie arrived on Friday.
Saturday was spent steaming to the picnic at Westgate Landing Park where folks ate in their little groups at the picnic tables. After steaming back there was a little swap meet, and then folks cooked up their masterpieces for the potluck dinner. A couple of the more adventurous boats went out after dinner for an after dark steam up Georgianna Slough in the starlight.
Sunday morning boats steamed over to Korth's Pirates Lair for brunch. A couple of the boats went for a long 20 mile steam through sloughs along the Stockton Ship Canal and back to B&W Marina. Several boats pulled out and went home Sunday evening.
Monday saw the last couple of boats have their last jaunts up the various sloughs before pulling out or steaming back to their home marina.
