I don't know if this is well known, but I recently found a website (http://www.billp.org/Dockstader/ValveGear.html) with software available for simulation of more or less every valve gear ever used. It's meant for use with the live steam community but it's still been pretty useful for me, hopefully someone else can get value out of it as well.

Yes Tom, it's been around a good while and is fairly well known. It has been mentioned on here in the past. Seems that most who try it find it useful. I will get that far, one day in the not too distant future, I hope.

Nothing bad about it. It might just as easily have been a new find. Chances are if you did a search on here, it might not turn up.
