Steaming to London

We've started planning our next trip in Hasty, this year we set off from Coventry on April 12th, stopping at Stoke Bruerne until the 18th then down the GU to Bulls Bridge, along the Regents canal to Limehouse Basin then on to the Thames up to Oxford and back to Coventry. This should take about 20 days and I think it's about 350 miles. We'll be stopping at many places on the trip so if you happen to see us pop your head in the engine room door and say hello, you never know if the Windermere is hot you might even get a cup of tea.

Look forward to meeting fellow steam boaters.

That sounds like an exciting trip! Will you have fuel staged along the way or have a lorry deliver to your location?

Hasty can carry 2000kg at a pinch but if I get stuck I'll buy some fuel from the coal boats on the trip, she's equipped with a good steam lance so I can burn some quite dirty fuel if there isn't any alternative
