I haven't look at your pictures with a sufficient attention

What is the dia of the drilling into the connecting rod?,

I was also thinking to drill at the lower part of the connecting rod, fit a copper tube, fix it on the connecting rod to its top and then connect the flexible pipe which will be in the vertical axis.

What do you think of this other solution

I used a 5mm long series drill, only because I had one handy, any size would do so long as you don't go too big and weaken the rod. The other Idea would work fine also so long as you secure the tube properly at the upper end.
On the Elliott Bay triples there is a copper tube running up to a tundish on one side of the crosshead pin, its therefore in a neutral plane regarding lateral movement, this is supplied by gravity from wick boxes above but theres no reason why it could not be supplied by a flexible.
