So now only the middle word comes up as a link. Weird science. I think we have been hacked.

So now comes the experiment:

It still sounds as if somebody naughty has got into our system. There is no reason for anybody to be advertising on the Forum without the Webmaster's permission.
Wonder if it will happen this side of the pond?

Edit - Looks as if it requires a lower case N to pick up the trojan. I will contact our webmaster.

Ah! I didn't pick up on that. And it was my dreadful typing that produced that bit. As usual.
I am a barbarian at the keyboard.

I find the interception of the D word entertaining. I do NOT find this entertaining. What's next? Links to porn sites? A special interception of my email address sent to subscribing and needy Nigerians?
I await some illumination in this matter.

I took a brief look and on some forums there is a way to insert a code to link certain terms to a website. Some inactive forum member probably did this to get traffic to their dumb website.
Mike, welcome to the 21st century

I'm afraid the day of privacy and confidentiality is no more. Whether someone gets on the internet or not. All one can do is, change passwords often, watch their bank and credit card accounts activity, open all mail that they receive at home, in other words stay on top of their personal business and remain vigilant. Use different passwords for everything. Never open any email unless you know what it is. Any forwarded circulated video or attachment sent even if it is from someone you know, don't open it. And don't use cellular services for any financial sensitive services. These kids can ghost your cell phone and listen to and read everything that happens on it. I had a credit card stolen a few years ago, someone went crazy with it and ordered five flat screen tv's from Walmart. I knew about it the next morning, called them, cancelled the card and the charges were cancelled as well.

I know all of that security stuff Ron. What I do not know is how a forum member can insert links on MY posts. This will change or I will be leaving the forum.
If the links being added support the forum financially then I would like to know that.
If Pete can find out anything for me I would be most appreciative.
