What should i use for torque specs for rod bearing caps,main bearing caps and head bolts? 3/8" bolts, 5/16" bolts'

And plasti gauge bearing clearance?

Snug them up until you let out a little involuntary grunt. That should be just about right. I'm sure that is how it was done in the
1890's. If it breaks you have gone too far! :D

Bearing clearances need to be tight on double acting engines to prevent knocks; they'll run quite loose for a long time but you don't get that nice silent glide :)....

.001 per inch in diameter seems a common middle of the road recommendation.
