On the weekend of the 23/24 June 2018 Calstock in Cornwall will be hosting its first steamboat rally.
The first paddle steamer bringing day trippers from Plymouth to Calstock arrived in 1834 and since then (other than the war years) there has been a steady flow.
Sadly the paddle steamers have long gone, but Calstock, nestled on the banks of the River Tamar is as pretty as ever.
Registration for the event is via the SBA website and once Christmas is out of the way more details will follow.
