Hi All,
Is anyone interested in meeting for a full cruise on the Connecticut River? We just checked out the East Haddam salmon river boat ramp and it seems pretty nice for a kick off spot for a cruise. I think a trip down to Essex and then maybe back up to Middleton would be a nice way to spend a wonderful day looking at the beautiful foliage.
We intend to do this the first or second weekend in October perhaps later if the weather holds out.

Houses are but badly built boats so firmly aground you cannot think of moving them.

Count me in on that one. I have been building a house for my daughter this year, and missed most outings on lake Noximixon PA.
I understand there may be someother steamers too?

We were thinking maybe a day on the long weekend,October 8th, 9th or 10th (or a couple of days). We also were unable to attend meets this year due to work.
