Rallys/Meets in the Midwest?
Will there be any steamboat rallys or meets in the Midwest this coming year? Mid-Michigan?

Regarding Mid Michigan, I'm not sure if we are having it next year or not. We didn't this year as we all went to the Great international steamboat flotilla in New York instead. I spoke with Dennis F the gentleman that puts on Mid-Michigan and its still sort of up in the air.
We are talking about putting on another earlier in the year on the Clinton River off of Lake St Clair just north of Detroit. It will just be a one day affair. Mid Michigan is/was held in conjunction with Charlton Park steam and gas engine show. Really good spot for a meet.
Check the events register in Steamboating magazine, if it's happening, I will try posting it on here as well, or any other meets we may have.
