As a matter of fact, all of our computers are generally steam driven, since about 80% of all electric power is presently produced by steam engines. That is an accurate number for the USA and the rest of the world too.
They are technically steam engines, although the turbine type.

And when I am on the boat, my laptop is powered by a reciprocating steam engine, for which I have shovelled the coal on my very own...

I want to know if those tarts that come up on a Google search of 'steam punk' are steam driven!!
