I'm a newbie with a brand new (to me) boat purchased yesterday. 23' Elliott Bay, Strath Engine and Benson Mountain boiler 15 years old. Trying to search on coal information but most of the search terms I use don't work. I get the following message: "The following words in your search query were ignored because they are too common words: fired coal boilers."

Why is the word "coal", and for that matter the word "boiler" too common and not acceptable? How do I search for coal or boiler related topics?

I think when the filter sees any word hundreds of times within this forum, it gives this reply.

However you can simply post your steamboat questions on the forum and many of us will reply with information.
