Philadelphia Fireworks

Fourth of July Fireworks Display at the Independence Seaport Museum. Best seats on the water with the Margaret S. sidewheel steamboat. US Cruiser Olympia (1893) and Moshulu (Largest sailing ship afloat, built in Scotland 1904). A very nice outing, although returning to the lower Delaware the next day was rather rough with 25 MPH winds and big (for a 20 foot steamer) waves.

Nice, Fred. You're braver than most, steaming around with Margaret in industrial tidewater.

Of course I plan to join you some day ... Smallest thing I ever tooled around with below the Ben Franklin bridge was a Grumman canoe. It was dicey when we met the daily waste treatment barge being pushed by a Moran railroad tug, but I'm still here to write about it.
