Okay, I’ll fill the voids, but with what?
Just had a look at Heritage Steam catalogue and I can see ceramic blankets but I envisaged something with more bulk and less cost.
Victas Ceramic fibre blanket looks more like what I was thinking about, would this be okay?

Here’s a photo of the boiler before I started the casing.

Next week I start building the boat ....
