I'm interested in adding a scalloped fabric fringe to the outside edge of the canopy on Black Eagle. Where would I find something like that? Would I have to make it from scratch??

Somebody who makes annexes for caravans may be your best bet.

Buy some sunbrella from a sailmaker or order it online. Cut it to shape and sew on a reinforcing strip, a soft binding, on the scalloped edge. A sailmaker may be able to do it for you too. Sunbrella resists the sun and has minimal fading, mine has held up well. Sunbrella is the colored edge of a a sail's leech that acts as a sun barrier when the sail is furled.
Houses are but badly built boats so firmly aground you cannot think of moving them.
