Ron Fossum?

Has anyone heard from Ron Fossum of the International Steamboat Society lately? I've tried to call and email him but they're both out of date/disconnected.

I too tried to subscribe to his magazine and then to email and message via this forum, but no joy with any of it.
Hope he's OK. Reading his posts on here is quite inspirational.

Ron lost his partner last year. I've spoken to him since then but not recently. And I don't remember when I last received Steamboating.

Hi

Yes I too have been trying to contact Ron and have had no reply.

Are there any readers of the Forum in the NWSS who could ask around the Society? If he is not well it would be nice to be able to send him our good wishes.

Regards

Pete

Hi Folks

I have an update. Ron is OK and is currently thinking about another edition of Steamboating. For those who use Facebook more details are apparently available there.

So, Ron if you happen upon this thread, your friends all wish you well and are glad to hear that you are up and running.

Regards

Pete

Good to hear. Thank you for the update Pete. Do you have an updated email and phone number for him?

Now on to finding Mr. Radow...

Hi Wes and Friends

I regret that I cannot offer any new email addresses or other contact routes. What I did was to check the Members list for the International Steamboating Association (being a paper push in the former career I had, of course, filed that). I found one member who lived in the same city as Ron, used Google to see how far away and then sent him a note asking him to do some detective work. My respondent reported that "He is getting back in the swing of things and new issuers of Steamboating should be coming out fairly soon."

Apparently, Facebook was used to discover that, so if any of you who use it (I don't) care to have a search we might find a little more information.

Regards

Pete
