Thanks again, you could be a great help to verify the contend and my translation of the boats registration form.

Let me know what, when, and where. My email address is the same as it has been for the past 15 years - it's listed on many of the websites I manage.

Hi Rainer

Being on vacation (with laptop and 3G dongle) I have found the time to play with your site. It seems to work very well, but it occurred to me that it woul be less effort for you if boat owners could update their own data. I am sure that MySQL would support that and would probably allow you have any input piped to a holding area for you to check before allowing the main listing to be updated. I fear that you would need to get involved with logins and so forth to ensre that the person updating is the actual owner.

Of course, not having any skills with MYSql, it is easy for me to make suggestions...

Regards

Exactly all this is installed already and in use by some German beta testers ;-)

During the summer holidays in the US (starting in 12 hours) I hope to find some time for an English translation.

Lorraine

Wesley has send me a lot of good pictures of SL Lorraine. He also cut a nice video for us and placed it in Youtube. With his help I could add boat No. 161 to my register:
http://www.steamboating.de/steamboat/st ... update.php

I would be happy to present boat No. 200 this year - so please feel free to send more boat pictures and specs. I am also interested in more pictures for all the already listed boats. There is no space limit.

Your registry is looking great Ranier!

Thank you for the kind words.

I am in the process of compiling more info and media on other boats. I should have a few more for you to add before the 2014 B&W meet.

Ranier,

Are "Missie" and "Miss Blue" owned by the same person?

Ranier,

I was looking at the section of your website dedicated to your German Imperial Navy steam pinnace engine. I must say I am fascinated with the complexity of the patterns, the casting, and your solutions for machining. I am eagerly looking forward to its completion.
