Hull: Indian Runner 21 designed by Selway Fisher. Built & Fit out 1998 by Tom Peebles. LOA: 21' 0", LWL: 20' 0", Beam: 5' 6", Draft: 1' 9",
Strip plank, cedar and epoxy composite. Teak decks, Red Cedar strip planking in epoxy/glass. Full length canopy and see through side curtains
Boiler: Roberts type HWT designed & built by Antony Bever at Swindon in 1994
Coal fired, 165psi. 8” diam x 24” long steel drums, 28 x 5/8th steel tubes welded construction. retubed 2010
Condensing, engine driven pump, hand pump, injector, steam feed pump, feed water heater, whistle.
Engine : 2 cylinder compound 2 1/2 “ + 5” x 3” Power: 7 Hp
Built 1998 by Philip Newman at Abernethy. Savery style by Gordon Cheape. Piston valves, Joy Radial valve gear.
Hypro feed pump by chain stepped up 2/1 from front of crankshaft.
Edwards style air pump from LP crosshead.
Propellor: Manganese bronze, 3 blade right hand 16” x 30”. Shaft 1 ¼” stainless steel.
History: Hull built and fitted out by Tom Peebles (1993 – 1998).

Talisker has now been sold and will be steaming the Thames soon.
