Been coveting those HSL engines for years. Of course now one pops up, right before the completion of the project

I see Oceanid's Scotch boiler is also listed for sale on the same site under non railroad steam. Asking $5000 might need some tube work.

Would be a nice combo for someone with the boat and the money to match, which isn't me.

I heard the hull was so rotted and full of holes when they towed her to Everett engineering a few years ago that, to quote Stan Rodgers, they were... "pumping like madmen all the way!" So, she was subsequently broken up, and her machinery is all that remains.

I saw the boiler as well. I'd do a very thorough inspection with UT before going down that route.
